Communication Matters is a Facebook group for families in Washington State, although any parent interested in augmentative and alternative communication is welcome. This group is for parents and other family members/caregivers of children who are non-verbal or unable to meet all of their communication needs verbally.

Once I started it, I did not want to put it down. Robert Rummel-Hudson's writing is honest, raw, and poignant. He has a dry wit and sense of humor that I appreciate.
This is one of those books that I wish I could get everyone (every adult) to read. But at the very least, anyone who works with or has a loved one who is nonverbal.
